What Is Support?
All of our items come with 6 months of included support and free lifetime updates for your theme. Once the 6 months of included support is up, you have the opportunity to extend support coverage for 6 or 12 months further. If you choose to not extend your support, you will still be able to submit bug reports via the contact form and still have access to our online documentation and video tutorials.
Before Contacting Support
Before you submit a support ticket please try the following three steps to diagnose your issue. In most cases this usually fixes the problem or at least makes it much easier for us to solve them.
1. Latest Version Of Theme And Plugins
Update to the latest version of the theme and included plugins as this will likely fix your theme issues. We will not look at any issues if you haven’t updated the theme and bundled plugins.
The latest version of this theme is shown in the changelog. To find out what version you are using go to Appearance > Theme, hover over the theme thumbnail and click Theme Details. The version number is shown next to the theme title.
To update the theme see Updating The Theme and to update the included plugin see Updating The Plugin.
2. Deactivate All Plugins
If the theme and plugin updates doesn’t resolve the issue disable all activated plugins (except the plugins that are needed to test the issues). If this fixes your issues this means the theme is not causing the issue. Reactivate the plugins one by one or in groups so you can identify which plugins are causing the problem.
3. Switch Themes
If deactivating all plugins doesn’t resolve the issue, activate the default Twenty Twenty-One theme. If your site has visitors you can use the Theme Test Drive plugin so your users don’t see the theme you’ve switched to. If the issues still occur this means the theme is not causing the issue and this is probably a general WordPress or server issue. You will need to contact WordPress support, your web host or hire a developer to fix your issues.
If this issue is being not caused by a plugin and only occurs on this theme please open a support ticket.
What Support Covers?
Support covers any questions about how to setup and use the theme/plugin. We are not able to provide support for code customizations or third-party plugins. If you need help with anything other than minor customizations of your theme you will need to hire a developer. For a more detailed explanation of what support does and does not cover check out Envato’s support definition and guidelines for buyers.
How To Renew And Extend Support
You are eligible to renew or extend your support subscription if you have less than 6 months support remaining and the author is still supporting the item. The cost of purchasing support can vary according to the different periods of your subscription. For example, extending your support subscription while it’s still active costs less than renewing it when it has expired. To learn more about this, please read Envato’s Extending and Renewing Item Support article.
- Go to your ThemeForest Downloads page and locate your theme purchase, where you will see how many months of support you have remaining.
- Click the Extend Now link and it will redirect you to the theme’s item page.
- On the right hand side, click the Extend Now and Save button and you will be redirected to the checkout page.
- Confirm your payment details and follow the on screen prompts to finish purchasing the extension.
