Following Items

The following feature allows users to follow posts/pages/custom post types and keep track of followed items.

Following Button

To allow users to follow items you need to add a following button to the page as follows:

  1. Go to GhostPool Core > Template Editor and edit the template you want to add your follow button to.
  2. From the elements panel on the left select the Button (Magzine) element and drag it over to the Drag widgets here area.
  3. From the Link To dropdown menu select Follow/Unfollow Item.
  4. Save your template.

Following Items Page

To create a page that shows the items the current user is following do as follows:

  1. Go to GhostPool Core > Template Editor and click Add New.
  2. Give your template a title and from the Template Settings panel on the right select “Page” from the Type dropdown, click the Publish/Update button to save these changes. Finally click the Edit with Elementor button.
  3. From the elements panel on the left select the Items element and drag it over to the Drag widgets here area.
  4. Click the Query toggle and enable the Follow Items option.
  5. Save your template.
  6. Now go to Pages > Add New and give your page a title.
  7. Scroll down to the Page Settings panel and from the Page Template dropdown menu select the template you just created.
  8. Save your page.
